HOW YOU CAN HELP US

 1. By donating money.

No donation is too small as we can do a great deal of good with very little money. Donors will be entitled to receive GHF briefs on activities, projects and plans, and to attend the GHF annual general meeting. You will also be welcome to visit the project of your choice at your own expense.

2. By donating your time.

No offer of help is too small, and we rely on volunteers for most of our work. You can volunteer to help by offering your own particular skills and expertise, either at head office in Lausanne, or in one of our projects in the field.

Here are some of the ways in which volunteers can help us at our headquarters in Lausanne

• Design and creation of informational material for brochures, events and the GHF web site
• Translation
• Promotion and organising of fund raising events
• Workshops and seminars
• Secretarial work

Volunteers who wish to assist GHF in its activities in the field should satisfy the following requirements:

• Skills and competencies which are relevant and directly beneficial to the needs of the project
• Competence in the language spoken in the assigned country
• Compassion for, and appreciation of, cultural diversity
• Able to be financially independent for the duration of the assignment as GHF does not pay salaries to volunteers
• A working understanding of GHF principles and its mission
