Reaching the Unreachable in the Poorest Parts of the World

Pre-schooling, schooling, and vocational training, Center Don Bosco, Tirrases, Costa Rica

The Project: is located in the rural village of Santa Teresita with a population of approximately 3'200. It is a pre-schooling, schooling and vocational training project for girls and women. It assists 140 underprivileged children and 165 women.

GHF is providing the needed technical assistance and training as well as partial funding focused on upgrading the facilities of this centre, and the teaching programmes and methods utilized.

We are providing pre-schooling education for girls under 5 years old, as well as schooling for those up to 14 years old.

GHF also facilitates vocational training and community development skills for the women of the village. 

GHF assistance is planned to continue until 2013.
