Reaching the Unreachable in the Poorest Parts of the World

2003 Educational Calendar

An introduction by the author, Naseeb Dajani.

This is a unique calendar designed primarily to enhance knowledge and stimulate curiosity.  In a special way, it aims at raising awareness and learning, and creating care.  Its proceeds will go to further the humanitarian work of the Foundation in the assisted projects.'

This calendar is the second one in a planned series of five.  It embodies twelve selected, innovative working formulas based on the author's thirty four years of experience and learning in the fields of human, social and environmental development;  Learning, indeed, from an enjoyable career of service as well as in training development agents, such as, agricultural engineers, educators, environmentalists, home-economists, medical doctors, nurses, social workers and sociologists.

Each monthly formula sums up a creative lesson – accompanied by a relevant quotation and a photo taken from the Foundation's assisted projects – that could be explored and elaborated upon..

It is, therefore, the sincere and earnest plea of the author that these development-oriented messages be put into good use.  For as it has been wisely said, "then as for the foam, it passeth away as scum upon the banks, while as for that which is of use to mankind, it remaineth in the earth."

On behalf of our Foundation, allow me to convey to you our heartfelt wishes for joy and success all through this year and the years to come, in partnership, in this meaningful endeavour.

Finally, as I learned from your generosity, that "if the well is full and open, one does not need a long rope."

I thank you again for your generous support.

Cordially yours,.
