Reaching the Unreachable in the Poorest Parts of the World

SAMMA Project – Support to street girls and boys, São Paulo, Brazil.

The Project is located in Itaquaquecetuba, and in São Paulo city, São Paulo, Brazil.  It is a support project to street children, who have no families or home.

The Project consists of the following:

1. Provision of an Open House for these children.
2. Emotional and educational orientation.
3. Health and dental care.
4. Artistic and Sports activities.
5. Human relations development

The aims of this Project are:

1. To provide a home for the street children.
2. To nurture their self-esteem and self-reliance.
3. To provide relevant education and training
4. To provide health, and hygiene care
5. To facilitate their integration into the society as responsible and productive citizens

GHF is providing technical assistance and training as well as partial funding until 2009.

The total amount needed for each year is Sfr. 48,000.
